Tepper Ball 2010

Carnegie Mellon Business Association‘s annual Tepper Ball on Saturday, February 13th, 2010 was a huge success. As a much needed remedy, the event was a perfect way to cure the cabin fever built up after the two feet of snow accumulated the week before; cocktail dresses and two-piece suits had never been more welcomed. Saint Nicholas’ Greek Orthodox Cathedral was filled with over one hundred and thirty five Carnegie Mellon undergraduate students enjoying dinner and dancing the night away.
The annual ball is always a treat for Tepper undergraduates, a true way to get to know your peers and indulge despite demanding course loads. It is a great way to see Tepper spirit among the students as well. The Undergraduate Business Department funded most of the costs in addition to the generous contributions of the Undergraduate Economics Department and Student Senate.

CMBA Business Fashion Show
On January 22nd The Carnegie Mellon Business Association held its annual Business Fashion Show. Seventeen models showcased trendy outfits in business casual, business interview, and business formal wear. As the models walked the runway, Jennifer Frick provided the audience with great tips on the dos and don’ts of business wear. Tepper students, Jamie Yieh and Nathaniel Foster hosted the show and introduced the three styles of fashion to the packed room. In attendance were around 70 undergraduates.
As time rolls around for interviews, internships, and job searches, every student will need to know how to dress for professional success. Therefore, The Carnegie Mellon Business Association hosts the fashion show each year to give students an idea of proper attire for Business functions. After the show, students, models, and faculty were able to mingle over appetizers and network. The Business Fashion Show provided all attendees with a fun filled hour of learning professional dress code while watching friends and classmates strut the runway.
